fixitrod Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I don't know if it's bad but I catch myself doing it all the time. It's a bad habit I have. Quote
. Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 its not really bad for it if done correctly. You gotta let off the gas a little bit to make the transmission "float" so to speak. Quote
bansheefreak Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 clutches are for takin off ... you don't need a clutch to shift ... maybe to get back in the powerband if you have a topend motor ..only time i use mine is taking off (banshee or my peterbilt(18speed) hauling 125,000 lbs}. Quote
dcmoose Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 In my SHO, i don't think i use it for anything but taking off, or if i am gettin on it hard core. Quote
