I just bought a 2001 banshee blue and white with very low hours. my problem is it take nearly 10 min to warm it up or else it runs a little rough when Ilet off the gas. Is this normal? Is it a problem? Should i just deal with it?

My bike is like that. It runs much better when cold ever since I raised

my needles (lowered my clips) one notch. 5 or 10 minutes is normal

warm up time. Take it easy till shees fully warmed up.

when i start riding and it dosent fell/sound warmed up i stop and idle longer so i dont ride it cold.

when i get it started, i let it idle for a minute, then I blip the throttle hard and let it rev back down and do it again. I do this for a minute or so and feel the temp of the head every so often. When it gets hot to the touch, shee's ready to go.

yeah I'm with Sredish on this one.Keep your left riding glove off so you can feel the head temp. as you warm up. Idle for a little while then lightly blip the throttle.Warm up is important ,especially if you have forged pistons.
