Some little stuff rattling in there is the bad?

Better check it, When I had a little rattle in mine, It had come loose. Luckily it didn't mess up anything or I would of been pissed off. Lesson Learned. Double check that you torqued everything!!!!!

When you grab hold of the flywheel, does it have slop? It could have come loose. The rivets could have come loose, but I doubt that very much. I am thinking that something is loose under the flywheel.....

Me too....after I got in a hurry & installed my new stator I neglected to remember to adjust it. So when I got it back together & kicked it once, all there was was a rattle on the left side. I though, "that's no good" & pulled it all back apart, sure as chit, GD pickup coil was 'rattling' on the flywheel pickups. :shootself: Luckily it only grazed it, no damage done at all...probably a good thing I didn't kick the crap out of it though! That woulda sucked. <_< Just goes to show that it pays off to take your time & double check overthings before you try them the 1st time. ;)
