jeepman380 Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Hey yall! I am about to get my motor ported here shortly and I also want to get a +4mm LR stroker crank too. My question is, what all is needed to install a stroker crank like this and what type of power gains are expected with/without a port job? Is there a noticeable difference in power? What gives more power, +4mm or +4mm LR? Is overheating and reliablity an issue when installing one of these? Thanks for your time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Quote

MULLET~BOY Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 your gona have to have some kind of porting to use a 4mm crank as far as long rod or not go with the long rod it help the pisiton angle witch will reduce wear on the pistion skirt over heating and life of the engine in not a problem from what i have seen theses are really strong motors with torque up the ass Quote
