97blkbanshee Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Does anyone have or recommend trinity stage IV pipes? It is time to install some pipes and I heard that these are the best pipes if your going to do other mods. Are these pipes louder than other pipes(toomey,FMF,Pro-Circuit)?I am also going to install a trinity C.V 2into1 carb. What size carb do you recommend 33mm or 35mm ? Quote
banshee76179 Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Both carbs r good... I have the 33 and I like it.. I have not heard anything about the pipes!! Quote
wansomordis Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I like there pipes STAINLESS is the way to go.. They have went up in price in the last year but what hasn't ?? just .02 Quote
ledofthezep Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 They're great pipes. Had some on my g/f's old banshee with a graydon 2:1 system & a 35mm carb*I believe*. Ran damn good. I'd recommend the 33mm carb...that's what I'd get if I was going to that setup. As far as the pipe sound...the trinity pipes were no louder than my previous toomeys or current PC's. Quote
BansheeBrian Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I don't know what it is but those pipes but they work well with a 2 into 1 carb setup. My buddie had it before he got the 400 and his shee had cookin midrange. Quote
Holyman Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I had T5's on mine and got stainless Trinity's from one of the guys here. I'm getting used to 'em. I still like the power delivery of the T5's a little better BUT with stainless I don't have to worry about riding her hard and putting her up wet. So I'm only going to run stainless pipes on my banshees and get the power the way I want it thru other mods. They are a well made pipe. Quote
97blkbanshee Posted April 2, 2004 Author Report Posted April 2, 2004 holyman, what was the difference in the power delivery between t5's and the trinity Stage IV's Quote
Holyman Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 The T5's just seemed to have crisper throttle and better top. I will say though that I have not made any jetting changes for these pipes and I changed from Yamalube 40:1 to Amsoil 80:1. So the throttle difference could be jetting. Don't get me wrong, they are a great pipe. I'm just more used to the T5's. They are what I "cut my teeth" on. I had not owned an ATV since 86 when I got my Banshee in 2000 and it already had the T5's on it. Quote
00BANSHEE Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I think they are some awesome pipes. I wish I still had mine. Quote
brock_fuzzy_69 Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 my shee had a set of the trinity pipes on it when i bought it i never have ridden with any other pipe yet but i luv the strong midrange that i seam to have it hits nice and smooth and pulls hard through the midrange Quote
97blkbanshee Posted April 2, 2004 Author Report Posted April 2, 2004 Thanks for the info.I'll be ordering a set real soon. Quote

00BANSHEE Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 yup, the CPIs are a good pipe also. I just think the STAGE IVs are built a heck of alot better. Quote
