Timing Advance Key

i bought alba +3 key and before i install it i was wanting to know if anyone has had problems with timing advance key's?

i have an '01, fmf gold series, milled head, wiseco .020 over, boysen power reeds, k&n, running 145 lbs, and use 100 octane fuel with r2.

I've had mine in for over a month now and put at least 100 miles on it. No problems whatsoever. Some folks have had problems with the flywheel coming loose and shearing the pin, but this was probably due more to installation error that the key. As long as you torque down the flywheel to specs, you shouldn't have a problem.

i put one on and when i took my flywheel off a couple months later the key was in 3 pieces needless to say i got a $35 rickystator adjustable plate and put the stock key back

thanks for the info, i think i will install it for now and order the plate from ricky stator.

good idea i had bad experience with a messed up degree key. very bad. just look for the post that shows how to modify the stock stator plate with a drill or dremil tool.saves money.
