Theron Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 I was wondering when you guys re-ring your banshees after how many hours. I ride it hard on trails. It is an 03 and I was not wanting to screw it up. Right now it has about 30 hours on it. I was told that I should re ring it every 40 hours, what do you guys think about this?? Quote

Personally I think it matters more if you overheat it alot, or beat the ever loving piss out of it on a regular basis. If you have a good air cleaner etc.... What I would do, is ride it, and if you notice a lack of power (I don't think it will sneak up on you) do a compression test. If there is a difference in what it was, or if one side is different by more than 10lbs, then pull the head, check things out. I have never been one to worry about the amount of time passed in the saddle, but rather how the bike feels when I ride it. Quote
