erbilabuc Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 why do people use blaster pegs suppposedly it moves you back 2 inches but you get the same deal with less effort by just getting another set of stock pegs cutting them and bolting them up to your stock pegs. With blaster pegs you have to modify the rear brake and shift lever. Quote
banshee370 Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 why do people use blaster pegs blaster pegs actually move you back 2" and down 2" and I feel very comfortable on my shee now. I like this a lot but its all personal preference Quote
mrmatt Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 I cut my stock pegs apart and rewelded them 2" back and slightly lower. I like the feel of the Banshee better. I find myself sitting farther back on the seat and when I stand upm it puts more weight on the rear tires, both of which help in the traction department. But if I had to do it over, I would just buy a set of Blaster pegs and save myself the trouble of cutting and welding the pegs. Either way you will have to shorten the shifter and brake lever. Quote
