l0wrider Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 ok, i just bought a thumb throttle off of somebody with cables and carb tops and everything. does anyone know why when i pull the throttle cable, it doesnt go back?? like it should.. or can anyone give me any help on whatever i need to do do get this motherfucker to work. ranshee Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Does the cable stick, are there springs in there, Is there a gang of sand in there, is the cable kinked. There is not much to a throttle cable. Take it apart and find out. Quote

There is not much to a throttle cable. Take it apart and find out. the cable does just stick when i pull it out. yes there are springs on them. not so sure about the sand but the cable isnt kinked.
