ledofthezep Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Hey peeps, what's the stock front wheel nut size? Mine are stripped to shit & I need to get some new ones before I mount my sand tires. Don't have my bible on me & I'm going to stop by the hardware store & get some HD nuts. Thanks! Quote

DUNEDEMON Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Are you looking for thread pitch / dia? or the socket size required to remove the nut? Quote
BenBB Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 I THINK the thread is 8mm, not sure the pitch but it's coarse so my guess is 1.0...I know for sure the factory lug nuts are a flanged nut and take a 14mm socket; sorry that's the best I can do. I got a list of every bolt & nut size for my RZ motor, not that it would help, but the reed cage bolts are 6mm x 25mm 1.0, so I think 8mm is what yer after, maaaaybe 10mm... Quote
wansomordis Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 10x1.25 at 32 ft pounds torque Try using a six point socket they'll last longer Quote
