Demon350 Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 what u guys recon r the best nerfs ? the PTR mids look pretty sweet but CPI was recommended by passionRE Quote
ledofthezep Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Big jiggly titties or Big firm titties? Apples or Oranges? Z400 or KFX400? Pick whichever suits your style man. With nerfs...depends on what You are looking for,...with pegs, ones to use with existing pegs, heel guards or not, chrome or alluminum, etc... Similar with pipes,...read up on each pipe and pick the one that you feel would suit your style. For MX, I'd go with the PTR mids, for drag/dune bike I'd go with CPI. See what I'm getting at? Quote
CT-370LR Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Yeah Led Said it just right dude.... I was in the exact same predicament last year when I was ordering all of my stuff!! I was just mesmorized by all of the stuff and crap out there for the Mighty TWIN! I was like a tree blowing in the wind, but not going anywhere!! Finally, I did some engine builder research, made some phone calls, took out my motor and had it done all at once!! Thank God, now I have an individual that knows his stuff and can guide me through all of the decisions of performance (although I still seek others opinions every once in a while) and all I have to do is send him the money!!LOL..... But, I was looking at CPIs' a year ago, and all of the top MXers' stated just as Led Zepplin said above, "there are way better pipes for MX." I personally have CT MX pipes on my CT 370LR and she pulls HAAAARRDDD!! From idle and revs to the moon W NO FLAT SPOTS!!!! I am sure that there are other factors involved such as the 17cc domes, or the port job, or maybe the Delta V-Forve Reeds are a factor as well....... But I Dig dose pipes!! She sounds sooo sweet as well!! Quote
sredish Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Big jiggly titties or Big firm titties? Now this is my kind of post. I'll take both. Some guys like steel nerfs so they can bend and weld when broke, others like aluminum so they don't rust. Some like the kick up in the back for protection, some don't. See what style you like best and go with it. To each is his own. Good luck. Quote
