I also use 1 up in the front and stock in the back. I have a 42 for the rear that I've occasionally used in tighter areas, but I generally like it like this. The best way to find out is to experiment. Get a 42 and a 40 rear tooth and play with it. See if you like those better, if not, then you know where you need to be. Quote
