orion6781 Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 I am going to be moving to Tucson in April and i was wondering if there are any riding areas around there. If so what kind? I am currently setup for woods riding in PA. Basically i am concerned about my tires. I am running Mudsharks on there now. Is it sand? ot is it more hard packed? Also is it wet, I am thinking about getting the K&N clamp ons. (I know that it doesnt rain much.) Thanks for the help in advance. Quote
Jeffro Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I live in Tucson and know of a few good places to ride in town. Off of Pinal Airpark Road is good riding on state trust land but you need to get a pass from downtown to be legal. There is some other riding (trails) off of highway 83. April is a ways away but when you get ready PM me and if you like you can ride with some of my friends. We do Glamis trips about every 3 or 4 weeks also. Its has been wet lately and we have monsoon season in the fall but when you get here until then you won't see a drop of rain. Not much sand in Tucson, just open desert. Quote
