MILO Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 i've seen all of these shee's with the polished and decorative grills on them, but can't see spending the $$ on them. so i took the stock one off, and painted it with chrome bumper paint. not quite the polished alum. look, but stands out more than the black stock one against the blue plastics and adds some color to the front end. where i ride, all the chrome and polished extra's are a waste of $$. they'd just get trashed, unless i spent more time cleaning than riding. Yamahammer Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 Hint if you get one get the stainless not the alum it will last longer and does not require as much if any polishing wish i would of Quote
evil Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 i say you get the shiny polished ones and powder coat them black keep it in stealth mode till someone sees it up close Quote
banshee76179 Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 They, also restrict air flow to the radiator... Not, knowing the weather u ride in, or what type of riding u do... Could, cause some overheating... But, on the other hand sure does look damn good!!! I use a stock 1, because of the riding I do.. Quote
