fel0n Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Did anyone else hear the rumors about Yamaha making a new, smaller displacement Raptor? I saw the article while surfing the web, but i forgot to copy the URL. If i find it i will post it. I'm Jw if this is true or not. Quote
fel0n Posted December 30, 2003 Author Report Posted December 30, 2003 Good shit, I found it http://www.atvmag.com/news/news/2002dec/dec06raptor.html Quote
BenBB Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Sounds like the venerable Warrior is getting replaced...along with the Blaster and Banshee it's been in production since like '87. Looks like times are changin' in Yamaha's lineup, and I'll bet their last two 2-stroke ATV's are next on the chopping block... Quote
ledofthezep Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Here's another article off the same site: http://www.atvmag.com/news/news/2003march/mar31_raptor.html Quote
u2354 Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 This would make sense since the manufactors are being forced to meet emssions standards by 05 and then stiffer regs by 10. So i would look for more fuel injection and who knows CATS! Thats why i bought a new 04 banshee and 03 blaster i would look for them to be gone by 05. then again i might be wrong. Quote
erbilabuc Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 I heard the same thing a while back but i thought thats what the YFZ450 was for? Quote
Killer_Shee Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Those articles are over a year old guys, the machine they are talking about IS the YFZ450. Quote
Big Blue Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 I would like to see yamaha put the 250tt motor in the blaster. I wish they would leave the banshee alone Quote
