liquidchicken10 Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 I have a 2005 banshee that I bought off of a collector, it had been sitting in his garage since new without being ran much so when I bought it, it appeared that the right crank seal had dried out. I rode it for the fall of last year with no issues other than burning some extra oil before sending the motor to get rebuilt this winter. When I got the motor back I put a case saver on it and got everything back together, at this point it started leaking oil out of the neutral safety cover. I've tried taking the case saver off, I replaced the plastic plate with a billet aluminum one, and now have yamabonded that aluminum cover on but nomatter what I do it keeps weeping out if I let the bike sit, or it pours out if I do a couple laps around my house and get the oil up to temp. Any advice what else could be wrong? TLDR: Oil keeps leaking out of the neutral safety cover nomatter what I do. Quote
