Sheeboy12 Posted December 25, 2003 Report Posted December 25, 2003 As many of you know, i have stripped my shee to the frame and now shee's "back together" but my shee doesn't want to go any where? The rpm's just get a bit lower when i put her in gear???? I didn't touch anything internally. Oh and it bellowing white smoke out both pipes? ANd the rpms jump around on me? Quote
Sheeboy12 Posted December 26, 2003 Author Report Posted December 26, 2003 Help me out a little. Please. I really want to go to the track this Sat. Quote
boonman Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 Sounds like the clutch pressure plate isn't installed correctly and the top end has some shit going on. Maybe a head gasket leak, for the white smoke. and an air leak for the RPM's to be jumping around... Or, a crank seal could be gone.... Quote
flea49 Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 The pressure plate is not in the right possition, when you take the cover off, take the bolts and springs off of the pressure plate, turn the pressure plate one bolt hole at a time to the right or left till it slides in to contact the clutches,I think mayby there is arrows on them to. sezer Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 My friend had the same problem on his raptor. When we too the clutch apart one of the plates were broken. He was able to put the quad in gear and it wouldnt go anywhere. Hope this helps u out. One of your plates might be broken r Quote
