I'm assuming that you tried to teach yourself how to fly. They're actually very easy to fly but require a delicate touch. If you find out where your local flying field is you can usually get somebody to teach you for $10 or so. Most guys will help ya out for free. Most people have the tendancy to jerk the sticks, thus causing it to lose control, then overcorrecting causing a crash. They actually have buddy cords that connect 2 radios together. The instructor flies primarily and can hold a button in to give the student temporary control. Anytime the student gets into trouble all the instructor has to do is release the button and fix the plane's attitude, then give control back to the student. I taught my wife to fly this way on a very fragile balsa plane where one crash meant the plane, engine, and some electronics would be toast. She now flies that same plane solo and it hasn't crashed yet. Since its a foam wing and can handle some abuse, I'd say that after a couple flights with an instructor you'll be able to fly on your own. Also, you may have the elevons setup incorrectly making it impossible to fly. A quick inspection by another pilot can fix this and save yourself several frustrating hours. I've never met a pilot who wasn't eager to help out somebody with setting up their plane.

There actually a ton of fun, if thats gay then hand me the lipstick, its like a real life video game. I have a entire fleet of those things from Gruman Bearcat warplanes to float planes, bi-planes, a Cap21 stunt plane, flying boats, and a 10 foot winspan Curtis Jenny among many others. Ive been flying for about 25 years and it has been quite rewarding...Jim
