Meat Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 well i dont think the kickstarter has anything to do with the backfiring. Check the pinch bolt on the kickstarter and if thats not loose, its prolly the kicker mechanism inside the clutch case. BTW I see what your saying about those tranny bearings facing outside the case. Im 99.9% sure they were turned around when I put the motor back together. Those bearings are the ones on the front gear cluster. good eye. Quote
