dantrd05 Posted April 15, 2019 Report Posted April 15, 2019 Hey everyone! My first post on the website! I am in the middle of a partial restoration of my 2004 Banshee. It was unfortunately stolen from me and I was "lucky" they found it. Steering stem, handlebars, all plastics needed to be changed. So I decided to tear it appart and have the frame powdercoated at the same time since I have brand new fenders all around for it. Thing is, when I do my research on the internet, in 2004 I can find they made a white and red bike and a special edition which is all black. Mine is all blue... Is it possible that they were not the original plastics? (they were Yamaha plastics though). Why am I asking this? Because I need to find oem decals for my bike. Did Yamaha always use the same blue on theire Banshees? If so then I won't be worried when I order decals from another year. I'll be certain that the shades of blue will match. Thanks everyone. Here is link to 3 pics. (2 before accident and 1 from yesterday)https://drive.google.com/open?id=1gQd_qB3PWwiJQNTbE5hfvMPJFB6TtDao Quote
OneBADBanshee05 Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Your Banshee has to be a 2005 because that’s the year I have. I had to wait till 2005 to buy a blue Banshee. Quote
