Recently got an '87 Banshee project. Engine is out and top end apart. PO grenaded it. Going to go ahead and split the cases and rebuild it entirely. Was wondering what top end kits, or parts in general, are good and what to stay away from. I might have the jugs bored if I can't find the right kit with them. Wanting to keep it stock -mild stock. At my age I don't need much more than that!! Greatly appreciate your input!

If you want to keep it stock, your best bet would be to contact Jeff from site sponsor FAST racing he could you hook up with everything. Boring the cylinders, maybe a port job if you want, might want to rebuild /true weld your stock crank go oem bearings and seals in the bottom end. Should do the cascade pancake upgrade while it's apart. Keep the stock head, Vforce 4's reeds, keep stock carbs, you'll have a reliable banshee.

Carl will take care of ya. He cut my pro mod and just bench testing it is the smoothest shifting trans I've ever had.
