seabass Posted July 21, 2016 Report Share Posted July 21, 2016 As I was riding today, my shifter became really loose. It moves about an inch up and down. It doesn't seem as if it's the gears themselves. Where should I begin? Is it possible that it's the rod that goes into the engine? Just trying to get an idea before I rip into it. JKJK Posted July 21, 2016 Report Share Posted July 21, 2016 Yo Seabass.It's most likely the eccentric lock nut on the shifter mechanism has come loose.Take off the clutch cover +inspect,should be obvious.Glad to hear your still hammering on the shee,My beaters are just collecting dust.If you need a hand let me know.
