Won't idle, zero bottom end power

Recommended Posts

Ha ha, no. We run 32:1, but his was smoking so much it seemed like it was burning more oil than gas. I told him to check the slides and haven't heard back yet. I'll check it out on the 4th and report back.

Yep. Slides were in the wrong carbs. Just needs to mix up some gas for it and give it a try. Should be much better now. Thanks for mentioning it. Never would've thought they were in backwards as I normally just clean one at a time and assumed he did too.

I bought mine with them backwards, so you never know! Glad it was easy! :)

Bought my first one with backward slides too. Found this site to help me figure it out. That was about 13 yrs ago.

Yep. Thanks bhq. You guys have helped me with figuring out some electrical issues on my banshee and now my buddy's. Just wish he'd throw some gas in it and let me know if it's all fixed. He's still gonna send it off to fast for a new top end since it's low on compression.
