Ebay A-Arms

Recommended Posts

I was not looking for A-Arm but i noticed these.  They seem too cheap to be worth a damn considering the last custom set I had my buddy make me were $425.00 and a good $70 of that was 14mm ball joints.

Has anyone run these or know anything about them? Thin walled tubing? what size ball joints.  Cheaper is not always better when your bashing coal rocks at 30mph.

I currently have stock arms with 1" wheel spacer on the front which works fine for trail riding but I would like to go alittle wider at some point.

If its comming from Cali I know its made in china or hong kong...which I am fine with considering my company sells ASIA alot of machines USA made to make products.

Let me know

Peace out.

Any reason everything is +2 +1?  I know what the numbers mean.  When i ran hondas I could get +1 +0 +1+1 any combination really for woods riding.  I have some alba stuff already it seems decent for what it is.  Thanks for the link.  Didn't know they made arms.

For trail riding I have never had an issue with 1" spacers on the front.  The billet adaptors I make and sell for quads seem to work fine.  Would I run them on a machine that's gonna be jumped...nope.  1" is not gonna hurt you or feel it.

I think my bike is 46.5" in the front and 48" in  the rear last time I measured. Normally I have my friend make my ATV parts but was just wondering about the arms since his lead times can take longer that's all.

Link works for me.

He did my banshee frame and many other bikes like this little wonder......nothing stock and there's about no one who touch's 3wheeler anymore. KX112 motor in 85 200x frame, 250R shocks, 200x swingarm modified to run 300ex axle, 450R rotor 450r sprocket hub and rotor guard.  A lot of stuff no one will do he does for me at least and some other people.  I know a lot of the 3wheeler guys love his stuff.  There is some banshee stuff there from time to time but not much. I use him when I want odd ball stuff built nice.

He made some +2 arms for my wifes 250ex no one makes them lol

He made +1.5 85 200x swingarm for me

He made stock length 300ex style swingarm for an 85 200x for me

He is currently making a 85 200x KX112 conversion air box for me 85 200x

He is currentrly making BAJA rims out of some old douglas blue lables I kept off a parts quad

I've had a few set of arms made 300exs.

Just need to ask him, but I've known him for years so I do not get turned down, lead times can be longer consider 1 guy makes everything by hand.

I think ill order a set of those alba arms.  My buddy will be busy with building arms for the next few months.   My stock are are nice with new bushing but i did measure and I have room for the extra inch per side and can take the front spacers off to sell on craigslist.

They are 2 inches per side. What do you mean by you measured and have room?

I know what the numbers mean lol, Been in this game 26 years.  I am 48" at rear and 46" up front so these will make me same width front and rear.  That's why I have room for them lol.

I just need to find out what size ball joints they use and what the thickness of the arms mental is.  It seems like a decent deal per the reviews I found.

For being in the game 26 years you don't seem too bright. The front and back don't have to match(they don't now as it sits). Why do you care what size the ball joints are and what thickness the metal is? You were contemplating buying no names off ebay.

I've only used 14mm ball joints. I do not need to be bright in the banshee world.  It's not a bike that's super impressive to me being a 3wheeler rider.  I'd just like to know what size ball joints are used and thickness of metal. Can no one ask a question about parts?  NO need to be a  asking like a better man.

Being the same width from and rear would be good in the woods so I do not clip trees are 30mph.  Not all trails are wide open dunes where I ride in PA.

Come on guys.... these things are not the best thing out there we all know this. It's motor is it's fun part.  Odd build chassis and many companies making upgrades only help to make it better, in stock form its no impressive.  I'm def man enough to admit that.  I've owned a lot of bikes.
