68mm cub cylinders stock stroke porting

Recommended Posts

68mm cub top end set up for stock stroke crank. Needs replating. Wrist pin circlip came loose and gouged the cylinder wall in right side cyl. Never been ported. Could use a good clean up port once they are replated. I was told about $300 for replating from millenium so I'd like to get $250 out of these since they need work. I live near millenium so I could drop them off there if you wanted me to otherwise I'll ship anywhere in the USA. 300 to re plate. Do they need any weld?

No I don't believe they do but I'm not an expert. In the pics I posted of the gouges that's the worst of the damage but I'm not sure if those gouges require welding or just plating. The gouge goes right over one of the transfer ports that's the only area I'd question about needing welding
