Adjust your clutch check for clutch wear

Check your idler gear bushing

Take the clutch push rod and throw out bearing out inspect they can get cltch material in there and make noise I've also seen the rod .005 out of true . There's a spec in book

The idler gear is the one right next to the kickstart gear the bushing wears out and start making gear on gear grinding noise, take the kickstart gear of and inspect if it has play when on the shaft, also for the clutch you know its adjusted when it is as easy to push the bike in neutral as to pushing the bike in gear with the clutch lever in

is it the only gear that sticks out of clutch side that spins freely???

If so on my other bottom end i can spin it free and wont move any gear

The bottom that made the noise when i spin it sounds dry and turns the gears inside
