Bennett131 Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 I kind of agree with this. Concussions happen in every sport. He will likely get a couple playing baseball if he sticks with it through college. Concussions are bad, but they are going to happen in a contact sport. I got three playing soccer between high school, travel ball and college. If your son gets one in two years playing baseball by running into the catcher are you going to force him to quit playing sports all together? Listen to your doctor. When he says it's time to stop, stop. One of my 3 was in baseball. Quote
sleeper06 Posted November 10, 2015 Author Report Posted November 10, 2015 I've been educating myself on the subject, he goes to doc today for clearance . As of now he wants to continue , he will be on a short leash for sure. I was really suprised how common it is for his age after seeing a specialist. Quote
