Intermittent blue smoke from right pipe

I've had a crankshaft seal let loose before resulting in constant blue smoke out the right pipe, but right now it just does it after several wide open runs. Then returns to normal after cooling off.

Check that carb closely, float high or leaking a hair? Losing trans oil? Might have to try warm, hot leakdown.
