Okay so I rebuild my banshee to stock after frying a crank bearing. Only upgrade is FMF pipes.

27.5 pie

280 main

uni air filter in airbox

fresh plugs

Did a leak test and found a small leak between my reed cage gasket. Fixed the problem and had no other leaks.

Got the shee started and let it run a little. Let her cool down over night and was going to start the break in process the next day. Started first kick today, ran it at idle for 10-15 min, let it cool for 2 hours, went to start it and couldn't get it started. It almost starts up but never runs. Any ideas?

I used a bit of rtv between the gasket that is on the carb side of the reed cage. When I pulled my plugs to check them there was 2 pieces of rtv around the plug. Could the rtv maybe be getting lodged between my reeds or messing something up? Could possibly clog my carbs?

why'd ya use rtv? its not gas resistant........ probably didn't clog the carbs but I bet your air leak is back

I could of sworn I saw someone use rtv in a video. I'll have to take it off and get a new gasket and do leak test again
