Arjayloewen Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Hey guys this is my first post on this forum, ill give a little back ground im 17 and bought my banshee about 2 years ago and have kept it mostly stock as all my money goes into my snowmobile. Today i picked up a set of LRD adjustable pipes and when i started it it leaks pretty bad at the seem where the pipe expands. Should i just tighten them up of use some kind of silicone to seal it up maybe? Need some help as i wanna go riding tomorrow Quote
sheerider11 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Red rtv. I personally didn't like my lrd adjustable pipes tho. Adjustment made no difference and weren't much different then fmf power delivery. Nastyracing on here swears up and done that there the best pipe ever made Quote
Larry's Shee Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 other than you need to let it cure for 24hrs, means either you won't ride today, or they will still be leaking. Plus both pieces need to be oil free so the shit can stick. Quote
sheerider1026 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Sell them and buy something else. 1 Quote
Arjayloewen Posted June 13, 2015 Author Report Posted June 13, 2015 Thanks for the replys guys, im gonna try and adjust them a bit to see if that helps, if not rtv it is. They are not the exact pipes i wanted but really all i could find up here for a decent price. Will keep you posted with what i end up doing Quote
