SHEEMAN0415 Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 So i just recently did a top end rebuild and it started right up for me but as soon as it starts it just goes full throttle on me. Im gonna tear the carbs apart when i get home but i just wanted some other suggestions to look for as well. The throttle cable isnt bound. And yes i did a leak down test and it passed. Cylinders bored to 66.25, full shearer exhaust, boyesen reed cage and reeds. i Run 32:1 and i have 320 main pilots and 30 pilots. Thanks guys! Quote

98_sheester Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 Best way for me to tell... there is a small groove that goes all the way up the slide that groove should be toward the inside of carb on both carbs Quote

Larry's Shee Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 They can't go 180 out, but slides will fit in wrong carb backwards. Check that slides are bottoming out, gasket on top under cap, check again for leaks, especially carb boots. 2 Quote
