help please! ! problem whitt neutral

I just bought a 2004 banshee and when it's at idel it will not go in to neutral or second its stuck .if you rideit all the gears go in fine

You clutch might be to worn check your basket for grooves also

The guy I bought it from told me that the clutches are bran new , I am going to check them tomorrow to be sure

First, Banshees are notorious for not shifting into N. Second, a "new" clutch is just drive and driven plates. Baskets wear, the "fingers" on basket get grooves, which keeps it from disengaging, which makes for hard shifts.

 

If you are handy, you can file the basket and get a little more use out of it.
