CKylesworld Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I have a banshee that needs to be rebuilt. I am going to try to have it bored .20 over and was looking at denniskirk for new pistons. First of all I am not going to be racing or anything too harsh. They have wiseco pistons for $194.99 and they have a brand called WSM for $156.99 which they said was more like OEM. I was wondering if these would do for me. After the rebuild I am going to get a cool head and put 19cc domes on it. If anybody has any feedback on this plmk thanks. Christy Quote
ledofthezep Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I'd go with the weisco's,...dunno about the others. You can get a kit from RockyMtn atv.... Wiseco Piston Kit, Yamaha Banshee 87-03 Pro-Lite .020 (pretty sure you said that's what bore you're going to) $64.99 Check out: http://www.rockymountainatv.com L8R! Quote
. Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 dude...dont go there. Go to moto-man.com or magicracing.com or I cant think of a few others right now. You can get a whole top end kit including gaskets and writpin bearings for $150. If you cant get it from those 2 sites for 150 let me know....I'll go look in my dirtwheels mag. Quote
. Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 take that back, go to motosport.com get the wiseco kit, its a good piston, their forged so you need to just let them warm up for a minute longer than a cast. Lighter as well. $150 bucks, free shipping. Call them up and tell them you want a tracking number for it right away when they ship. phone # is 18666676288 Quote
