Yamatomo
Also it's both sides sucking air at the reeds. Right side is worse then the left.
bigweav81
When cutting ears off your stock intake boots to fit the vf4 reeds did you cut them evenly? Again I had to fine sand mine down to get them to seal gd. I've used Yamabond to help, but I can't tell you how long it would hold up. I sold the top end a few weeks later. Yamatomo
I just tried my best to cut it down to flat, I didn't sand it down tho. But your saying that solved your air leak problem?
bigweav81
Yes, but I'm not saying it will solve yours lol. The beautiful thing about a leakdown tester, and spraying bubbles. You know exactly where your leak is.......no more scratching your head, and guessing. Sent from your mammy house
Yamatomo
Yeah I hear ya. But I do think I could've done a better job on the boots. Did you cut and sand them flat, or at a inward angle?
bigweav81
Just flat. Sent from your mammy house
