Ok so it goes like this, I bought a banshee advertised to me like this (cool heads, 4mm stroker, drag ported, runs alcohol with lectron carbs). What I know now is cool heads not sure of dome size, lectron carbs on alky, stock stroke and ported.(not sure how much). I detonated the piston and want to go ahead and put a 4mm stroker in it now but I'm not sure with the porting I have now if it will work and if so what all I need to do. Please help any information will be appreciated.

#1 before you turn a wrench pressure test the motor and see if it detonated from an air leak.

#2 highly unlikely those cylinders will be able to be adjusted for 4 mil crank the transf/ex timings will be through the roof on a true ss drag port

I leak down tested it and it holds I believe that I mixed the fuel wrong. Operator error

How can I tell if the port would work?

Do a leak down before you tear it apart

That's what I wonder. This is first time with alky motor, guy I bought it from said I need to purge it after every run. Maybe I didn't do it right. Honestly I'm not sure. Only had it a couple days before it happened not sure how he maintained it
