BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Drag ported on alky, 2nd gear starts, override lockout shearer oof's etc. Primarily for dune drags 300to 400 feet I'll hit a track once a while. I'm 275 lbs (after I shit) and will be running a 75-76 ro hauler or extreme. I'm at stock gearing now and I spin too much out of the hole. I started out at 13/45 when I didn't know shit lol and I been working my way down. I want the most gearing I can pull right? Starting in first is not an option Quote
Nightmare Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Really need to know which tire you're gonna use? Haulers and extremes are pretty different. Quote
sprinklerman Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Need to know swingarm length too. Quote
BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 +13 swingarm. I tryd 72 ro 11 haulers, they spun way too much, then 75 ro 12 haulers they spun too much. Tryd 80 ro 14 haulers it was way too much tire Quote
sprinklerman Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Hasn't Hollywood seen you're bike in action? I'd ask him. Quote
BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 Yes sir. Im gonna get the paddles taballa told me to roll with I believe, but wondering if I can pull them after I go up on the gearing more Quote
special06shee Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Id have a hard time believing you"ll truly pull much more then 14/45 gear at your weight with 75+ro Quote
BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 Id have a hard time believing you"ll truly pull much more then 14/45 gear at your weight with 75+roWell you shouldn't I was pulling 14/41 with my weight and 75 ro 12 paddle haulers. Was spinning too much off the line Quote

BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 I wish I could take the video from fb and post it here so you guys can see Quote
BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 14/40 is equivalent to 15/43 correct? Quote
sprinklerman Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Aldo,if your shock /suspension isn't efficiently transferring power to the rear, I don't care what tires/gears you have,,,u out won't get out of the hole fast. I feel like that's why a lot of guys around here over-tire,,,they don't understand getting the chassis and suspension yo load right....So they keep adding tire. 1 Quote
BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 I have a no link Marvin in the back Quote
sprinklerman Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 I have a no link Marvin in the backDosen't matter. how it's set up (internally ) and the ride height ,makes it. You need someone to video your rear suspension while launching to see how well your chassis is loading the rear. Btw: the answers to shock setup, valving, pressure, etc, aren't going to be found on the Internet. On site testing is the key. 1 Quote
