blue83ranger Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 Does anyone know what the thread size is for the shaft where the front sprocket bolts on to? Mine has damaged threads and I need to retap it. Also, my case is broke where the kick starter clip slips into, does anyone have any suggestions on how I should fix that? I don't have the piece that broke out either. thanks for any ideas. Quote

blue83ranger Posted January 15, 2015 Author Report Posted January 15, 2015 I have the cases split and the shaft out so I was hoping to retap it since it would be easy to do. To me the threads are to messed up to use a file. They're rounded off a lot and I can't tell for sure the thread size. Quote

blue83ranger Posted January 17, 2015 Author Report Posted January 17, 2015 I just found a thread on this site that someone started about different thread sizes on a banshee and the thread is M18x1.00 and I found a new die for $7 shipped. It's unfortunately made in china but it should be good for at least one use. Quote
