2-1 set up w/ 35mm pwk

What can I expect from a 2-1 set up compared to my current stock set up? How do I figure out what jets I need for it? 2008 403cc 4mil hot rods trail port pro circuits

Most ppl will say: "go with stock carbs".

I would go with dual 28 or 33,35 Keihin PWK's.

For me, it takes 6 minutes to change main jets to my 35PWK's. With single it's faster.

 

My friend has a single set up with 40mm Lectron.

It's super fast to adjust.

Well I got the set up for free the carb with it is a keihin but don't know the size and not sure the manifold either don't have it in front of me.

If its a dedicated trail bike, I'm all for singles setups. Much easier to change things, no burning pods on pipes, easy throttle pull. Does it make as much peak hp on a dyno? Technically no. Will it ever be noticeable to you? Not unless you're a pro-am rider and run both setups back to back on the same trail the same day. Just for simplicity sake alone I like them for non drag apps. I only got rid of my single setup to go to efi.

efi on a banshee, i figured it could be done, where, who, how, any info would be great man.. if im correct u have efi tell us how shee feels and the diffs u noticed pls

I agree with whitbread. On a single the needle used is crucial!! Wrong needle and it will never run worth a shit. I'm at 600ft. 33mm pwk. EEK needle, middle clip 165 main, 48 pilot.

No worries, not trying to pick on you, I'm not an english major by any means haha. There are many new guys here that are wayyyy worse. They'll write a novel without a single capital letter, period, comma, etc. It's just 10x easier to read and make sense of technical questions for both parties when it isn't a jumbled run-on sentence with texting language.
