Lowering Kit

hey will a rear lowering kit help 1/8 times any?? also where are some good places to buy one. thanks matt

you are better offlowering the hole bike get some 1" aluminum rod and make some solid struts my struts measure 13" from hole to hole and the rear is 10"

yeah i was goin to buy a front and rear kit and i was goin to drop it about 4 inches all around.Matt

i will let you in on a little secret,

 

all i did was remove the springs from the outside of the standard front shocks (sounds dodgy i know but it worked quite well)

 

lowered to a good height for dragging and still allows bike to crawl across rough terrain without tripoding

thanks man i wish i would have waited but i just bought a lowering kit off of ebay..you need to put that trick in the tips and tricks forums i am sure a lot of people would like it thanks alot though...Matt

that will definetly lowere the bike but you don't want the back of the back to move you want the suspension to be pretty stiff. thats what will keep your bike down when you launch

if you want a lowering strut for the rear I have one. $20 shipped and you can have it. Its just sitting in my tool box.
