banshee missing

I hav a 2001 banshee i havnt messed with n a couple years ive been trying to get it tuned up to ride some this year but it spits n sputters if u cram the fuel to it if u gradually give it the gas it runs decent up to bout half throttle and its not hardly smoking at all like it should i checked the plugs they look like its burning about perfect light brown color any help would be appreciated
