james berry Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Well bought a banshee with a blown motor, Upon disassembly I see Hot Rods ck158b rods and hr 204 crank how do I find out what I have? Quote
james berry Posted May 2, 2014 Author Report Posted May 2, 2014 I've read that the old hotrod cranks said 204 were stock stroke. New ones are 4mm. The 158 means its got long rods. If the cyls were still on u could measure the stroke and know easily. 54mm is stock. 58mm is a 4mm Thank you for the info Im trying to figure this out checked the head out and it has been milled but I will know for sure tomorrow when I measure the domes as I am a machinist so I can at least do that. So i could bolt the cylinder back on since they are ruined already. Thanks again. Quote
