erickson483 Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 This may be a stupid question, but it has me concerned. I got new dual rates from works, but two things are giving me issues. One, the collar and washer rattle because they have about an inch of space to move up and down. (The washer and collar right where the upper and lower springs meet). Also, the top nut to adjust the spring compression is hardly tight. I can turn it by hand no problem. Are these issues or normal? Shocks are set for 185lbs on the trails Quote
VoOK Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 That should be normal, but if it bothers you call up Works and have them confirm. Quote
nastyracing Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 that's the secondary spring hitting the cross over aka that metal piece inbetween them crossing them over to mai n spring . that's a good sound of your shocks working. get out on a mx track and make some music , my shocks crossing over spring are actually louder then the whole bike when im out on the track. nothing to worry about just them doing there job.
