Banshee350cc Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Rebuilt my banshee now and took it for a shake down, noticed none of my lights working so checked bulbs and all were blown so changed bulbs and took it out again and sure enough it blew them too Quote
Pasi S. Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 I had this few years ago. Check and clean your ground wire next to CDI. Fixed the problem in my case. Quote
blowit Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 First verify that the voltage regulator is plugged in. Small silver box mounted next to CDI. If plugged in, unplug lights, set multimeter on AC volts and connect to tail light wire and ground. Run bike up and see if voltage exceeds 15V. If so, voltage regulator is faulty. Do NOT plug headlights back in until you run this test again and confirm voltage stops climbing around 14.5-15VAC. Brandon Mull Engineering Quote
BUILDER Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 If you just rebuilt it I am guessing you unplugged your regulator. Check all your plug ins and I bet that will fix it. The voltage regulator is the little one wire box that hangs on the rear subframe next to your CDI box just in case you dont know. Quote
