The engine won't care what is feeding it as long as it gets what it wants. Not hard really It was also "engineered" for that restrictive stock exhaust and from the factory, it pulls FAR lower RPM than we are running them at. So we all dabble in re-engeneering.......there is more than one path to results. The choice to run a single carb is no different than picking one exhaust over another. Just a different path.
