mossontte Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Thought I had my idle dialed in then all of a sudden after about a minute of idling the idle increased so much I had to shut the bike off. Any ideas what this is? Quote
uman1030 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 irractic idle is a lean condition, sometimes bad reeds can make idle wacky too. lean could be caused by an air leak or just too small of a pilot. could be running out of fuel too, clogged idle circuit, float level too low etc.. Quote

Couldn't seem to get it with the air/fuel screw.. Any suggestions? Quote

camatv Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 do a leak test. check your intakes for leaks. make sure your throttle cable is routed right and dosent affect idle when you turn the bars. but i'd say mostly do a leak test first. Quote
