bansheefromhell Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 I just got through assembling my 4 mill with stock dune ported cylinders from F.A.S.T. It has v4 reeds, 34mm pjs with 48 pilot and 152 main at around 900ft, k&n pod filters and shearer inframes. It starts first kick everytime and idles good and drives great while cruising. The problem is every time I go through a gear in wot and let off it starts to load up the cylinders. I'll pull the plugs and they'll be wet. I'll let it set for about 5-10 minutes to let it dry and it'll run great until I get into the throttle hard....? Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

sstaton1983 Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 Possible ignition breaking down at higher rpm. Quote
camatv Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 since they are busy.. check plug caps resistance. unscrew them off the end of the wires, test for ohm reading if it is over 5k its TOO much. if you have oem caps just get a set of ngks already.. check the stator pickup gap also you want factory spec and check it at BOTH pickups on the flywheel. i usually just use a business card. i thin its 22 to 25 tho if i rember right also check your plug gap and also your grounds.. if the above dosent help. try that first.
