What drag axle do I have?

I have a drag axle on one of my bikes and I don't know what kind it is. It has splines for the hubs but they are billet aluminum. The shaft is not stainless colored its a little more tanish colored. The diameter is small like a stock axle to. What axle do I have? Titanium?

Try to stick a magnet to it.

Magnet doesn't stick to it I tried that right away. It's also not adjustable and it's narrow like 28" axle size. How can I tell if its made of titanium? I can text somebody a pic but I'm having trouble trying to up load pics

I would really doubt it's titanium. It would be heavier than an aluminum axle, and cost 8 times more.

Only ti axle i knew about was from rad mfg. They were 40mm and had those lame taper seat hubs that never came apart. i had 2 back in the day. what a waste of money. maybe yours is anodized?

Heres some pics of the bike and the axle. I believe it is a Ti axle with aluminum hubs by the coloration of the axle and it not being magnetic.

Call shawn and susan at top dog racing I'm sure they could tell you what it is if the bike was built by them.

The guy I got it from just put those stickers on it cause he used them for his other bikes. He told me he put them on it after he bought the bike

I'm aware of that as I work with steel everyday. I don't believe anybody in there right mind would make a stainless steel drag axle for a banshee. It would weigh in at a ton.
