Sorry, but I have to dissagree about the "hardware store bolts". They typically have goofy head sizes. 11mm, 13mm, etc. It pisses me off when I'm working on somebody's bike and I grab my 12 mm socket and it turns out to be a bolt with a 13mm head.

Funny you mention that. It takes an hour or so put the Scimitar motor in its chassis. You need 2 or 3 different Allen wrenches, some metric some standard, 5 different wrenches and or sockets. Some deep well, some shallow, some metric, standard. I need to make a winter project of fixing that mess, but I always tell myself I won't have to take the motor back out, because not gonna tear it up again! Yea right.
