Surfrjag Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 they are studs you can order them oem. the end is splined and presses in. I had to do it once Quote
Jgspahn Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 Hmmm.. I wonder where I can take it to press it in. Quote
astewart Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 You should be able to do it without a press, press is just easier and quicker Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Quote
Starwriter Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 I use a hydraulic press. You can do it with a piece of pipe and a hammer. Put the pipe on something solid. Set the hub on the pipe and whack the stud. Do not try to just whack the stud out with the hub on the bike. You will bend the hub. Don't ask how I know this. Quote
Jgspahn Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Posted August 30, 2013 Ill get a BFH and see what I can do lol.. I gotta get the broken one out and then install the new one. Quote
astewart Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 Take a nut and thread till it's even and got it out the nut keeps it from mushrooming Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted August 30, 2013 Report Posted August 30, 2013 Start the stud, put some washers on it, then a nut, impact that bitch, remove said nut and washers, Call it gooder enough! This way it will pull it right through and into place. 1 Quote
