erickson483 Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 Long story short, my swing arm got a little tweaked while riding up north. It ended up making my axel point slight to the right rather than straight. So, I adjusted the left side back a little and the right side in. It ended up making the chain tighter than it should be, it was around 3/4" each direction of play. I noticed while pushing my quad the other day that it is knocking like a son of a bitch when it rolls. I touched the front sprocket and can feel the knock. My question is what is most likely screwed up? Besides me being an idiot of course. Also, both sprockets have around 20 hours on them. I appreciate any insight Quote
Larry's Shee Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 I'll bet the sprockets aren't in line. Pull chain off and lay a straight edge against rear and see how it meets front. With trans in N roll drive sprocket/shaft over just to double check trans. Where in Northern MI do you ride? Mio/Bull Gap for us. 1 Quote
erickson483 Posted July 15, 2013 Author Report Posted July 15, 2013 We ride gladwin area and St. Helens. I've never been up that way though. Quote
erickson483 Posted July 21, 2013 Author Report Posted July 21, 2013 Ya, my sprockets are out of line. I have a swinger coming in the mail within the next day or two (I hope). I'll update once I get it put together. Thanks! Quote
